A mod for Austin Jorgensen's LISA: The Joyful which includes characters from Taco Salad's LISA: The Hopeful.
Requires LISA: The Joyful to play.
- Replaces Buddy with Beltboy, Lanks, Cyclops and Rodriguez.
- Changed a lot of battles and re-balanced combat because Joyful's was shit.
- Campfire scenes from Hopeful in tha game.
- More enemy/player interactions.
- A couple endings, a few idk I didn't count.
- Like, two new secrets and a song.
- A gripping story that will leave you in tears, because it is very very sad, and you are probably going to cry when you beat the game because it is that sad.
- Probably some bugs I missed. Point them out to me,.
The game isn't working! It says there are sound files missing!
yeah you dummy you didn't read the notepad file! you need the joyful ost to play it otherwise it just ain't gonna work!
The game is too easy, harder mode doesn't make it hard enough!

So how do you install this mod? Is it just a simple unpack in the main Joyful folder?

I bought joyful just to play this mod and it was worth it, this was a lot of fun. My only 2 deaths were the secret boss and Johnny Walrus & friends lmfao
Also: looking back on a screenshot I took while fighting the secret boss, apparently if Rodriguez is bleeding the text at the top of the screen says he's poisoned instead?
Surprised there isn't more comments here. This was really well imported and had a lot of fun with it. Some of the dialogue fit really well with the characters and there was a lot of humour in the game, unlike the original Joyful. That 'secret' boss fight was really damn good too! Kudos to you for taking the time and effort to make this!
